The Labour Queensway Borough Councillors (Adam Henley, Andrea Watts, Andrew Scarborough) are holding their first roving surgery in the Wordsworth Rd area this saturday – details inside.
Good news on Friday morning, 6th May for Wellingborough .The number of Labour councillors increased from 4 to 9 .Shashi Dholakia Leader of the Labour Group on Wellingborough Borough Council, said the election of an additional 5 Labour Councillors will be a huge help in ensuring that alternative ideas are presented and discussed as well as proper scrutiny of the Tory polices that the present council is implementing in Wellingborough.
The financial settlement received by Wellingborough Council from the Central Government is not fair. Local people are being blamed for the financial crisis.
Last years fund raiser at Megna proved such a success that we have been asked to hold it again.
This fund raiser will take place on the 9th March, 7.0 for 7.30 pm at the Megna restaurant, 4 Cannon Street ,Wellingborough
Cost per person is £15, drinks not included and we’ll also be running a raffle.
