Another year, another success at Knuston Hall ….
Details from the annual Garden Party at Knuston Hall, Irchester held on Sunday 10th July.
Back by popular demand, the bi-monthly Supper Club is returning on Fri 5th August.
Instead of One Speaker, Chairman Graham Ridge has organised a “Question Time” panel who will answer all questions thrown their way!

Good news on Friday morning, 6th May for Wellingborough .The number of Labour councillors increased from 4 to 9 .Shashi Dholakia Leader of the Labour Group on Wellingborough Borough Council, said the election of an additional 5 Labour Councillors will be a huge help in ensuring that alternative ideas are presented and discussed as well as proper scrutiny of the Tory polices that the present council is implementing in Wellingborough.
The financial settlement received by Wellingborough Council from the Central Government is not fair. Local people are being blamed for the financial crisis.
A joint Wellingborough and Earls Barton Christmas Fund-raiser was held at the Megna restaurant in Wellingborough in December. It was a great evening
We held our last Supper Club of the year recently at the Castle, Wellingborough. This was a great opportunity to discuss and debate topical issues over a meal.
Earls Barton is a large community of nearly 6,000 people in Daventry constituency, but remaining part of the Borough of Wellingborough after constituency changes. This means that in the forthcoming local elections, it remain very much part of Wellingborough!
Wellingborough Constituency Labour Party is opposed to the privatisation of the Royal Mail. Rural communities may be worst affected by the privatisation, with the potential loss of a unique 6-day and universal postal service.
